SOURCES — metformin-geroprotection (Track 2, academic)
All raster imagery is openly licensed: CC0 or CC-BY only. No CC BY-SA, no non-open figures.
PDB atomic coordinates are public domain (RCSB Protein Data Bank) and were rendered
for these graphics with a self-written matplotlib C-alpha trace renderer
(infographics-build/render_pdb.py). No micrograph was fabricated.

Rejected
- Wikimedia Commons C. elegans light-microscopy photographs — rejected: available files were CC BY-SA 3.0/4.0 (share-alike not permitted).
Imagery gaps
- No license-compatible animal-model photograph (e.g. C. elegans lifespan model) was found; the cellular panel uses real mammalian mitochondria TEM instead, and the review's animal→human transfer caveat is carried in the footer text.
