Sources — Two-hit vascular dementia (academic track)
All images on the two academic graphics are real, openly-licensed data. PDB coordinates are public domain. Diagrams/schematics are labeled as such on the graphics.

Rejected candidates
- Several otherwise-suitable Wikimedia Commons images were rejected because they are licensed CC BY-SA, which the project policy forbids (open policy: CC0 or CC-BY only).
- Figures from papers cited in the page's review HTML that are not openly licensed were rejected — their rights do not permit reuse.
- No images were fabricated: no AI-generated micrographs, no invented charts or scans. Where no open imagery existed, the remaining panel was a clearly-labeled schematic.
