### Consensus consistency validation — 9 October 2026

This is a transparently unblinded consistency check; it does not establish historical Consensus use. The frozen review cutoff remains **2026-10-04**; fresh Consensus discovery is considered only to check claim scope and sources already in the frozen evidence inventory. Original score/source counts are preserved.

**Grade:** Γ / Moderate (unchanged). The registered central human lifespan claim is SC3 Γ; animal survival (SC1 Ζ) and human functional outcomes (SC4 Ε) do not upgrade the human lifespan endpoint. **Frozen inventory:** 60 primary reports, 65 claims.

**Consensus sources:** Pro browser response from https://consensus.app/search/caloric-restriction-lifespan-extension/hf_Mm4R0QXm5_QF3UMqz0A/ is preserved verbatim as `browser-thread.json` and `consensus-browser-response.md`; MCP search/fetch raw JSON also saved in this folder. Citation markers in the raw documents are unmodified. The Consensus surfaced papers are discovery pointers; the checks below use original source entries and PubMed abstracts recorded in the frozen review.

**Primary comparisons (all already in frozen evidence inventory):**

| PMID / DOI | Review source | Original-source access recorded | Comparison to claim |
|---|---|---|---|
| 19590001 / 10.1126/science.1173635 | #6, primary rhesus survival study | Complete PubMed abstract + linked-status metadata; no full paper/supplement audit | Wisconsin rhesus cohort reported survival advantage and fewer age-related deaths under CR. Supports animal lifespan in this setting, not human lifespan. |
| 22932268 / 10.1038/nature11432 | #7, primary NIA rhesus study | Complete PubMed abstract + linked-status metadata; no full paper/supplement audit | NIA cohort showed health benefits without survival improvement. Limits universal primate-survival generalization. |
| 28094793 / 10.1038/ncomms14063 | #8, primary cross-cohort comparison | Complete PubMed abstract + linked-status metadata; no full paper/supplement audit | Compared the same Wisconsin and NIA cohorts; not an independent third replication. Reports divergent survival and shared health effects. |
| 27136347 / 10.1001/jamainternmed.2016.1189 | #59, CALERIE 2 RCT | Complete PubMed abstract + linked-status metadata; no full paper/supplement audit | Randomized 220 non-obese adults for 2 years; measured mood, quality of life, sleep, sexual function—not mortality or lifespan. |

The search surfaced several CALERIE biomarker reports and primate survival material. These do not establish human survival extension or a validated mortality surrogate. Source count remains 60: these are existing rows, and any newly surfaced publications are not silently added to the original ledger. No score change is warranted.

This dated supplement adds source reconciliation to the original review. Its original narrative, registered scope, source inventory and grades remain historical records. A dated adversarial approval record exists for the separately identified caloric-restriction.review.md (2026-10-06; see edition-approval-audit.json). Its scope is that recorded edition. This supplement has no separate approval and no coverage is inferred from topic identity. New sources described here are supplemental and are not counted in the original inventory.
