  "title": "What this review means",
  "includeSubclaimIllustrations": false,
  "redteamReviewed": true,
  "accessNotice": "Source checking used bounded original primary abstract passages/status records and selected original partial-body passages. No complete-abstract or complete-paper audit, or independent scientific peer review, is claimed. Detailed access counts and limitations appear in the review.",
  "overview": "Semaglutide works at tested clinical doses; sustained weight-loss efficacy of weekly maintenance strictly below 0.5 mg remains unestablished in this review.",
  "implications": "The preregistered primary-subclaim rule returns Γ from SC2. Fifty-nine relevant original reports were examined, but none directly supplies the registered below-0.5 mg weekly, 24-68-week placebo-controlled maintenance experiment. Standard-dose clinical success is preserved as a different proposition. Lower-dose anecdotes, daily dose-ranging and titration do not replace the missing exposure-specific test. The framework's 'epiphenomenon' role label means a causal role at the exact registered dose is not established by the evidence, not that semaglutide has no effect.",
  "limitations": "59 primary reports examined. Moderate confidence rests on evidence density and reproducibility, not reading access: no study tests the registered sub-0.5 mg weekly maintenance exposure, the dose-adjacent reports are uncontrolled and response-selected, and muscle and food-noise outcomes conflict or rest on recall. The grade applies to the exact registered claim; stronger findings for narrower subclaims remain separate. No complete-paper audit or blinded calibration is claimed. This educational review does not establish an individual treatment recommendation."
