# Adversarial review log — grey-market-glp1 (revised edition)

Authoring model: **Sol 6.1**. Adversarial reviewer: **Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic)**. Date: **2026-10-14**.
Canonical copy: `consensus_consistency_audit_2026-10-09/revised/grey-market-glp1/grey-market-glp1.review.md`.
Edition reviewed: the revised edition carrying the dated Consensus consistency validation section of 9 October 2026.
Divergent copy **not** overwritten: `hsef_v53_remaining_priority_01_05_2026-10-09/grey-market-glp1/grey-market-glp1.review.md`
(the earlier edition, 737 lines against 764, lacking the spliced Consensus section).

## Summary

| Item | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| HSEF level | Α — Speculative / narrative | Α (unchanged) |
| Confidence | Moderate | Moderate (unchanged) |
| Causal role | epiphenomenon | unchanged |
| Momentum / Stability / Divergence | Mechanistic only / Stable / Contested | unchanged (Divergence rationale given its required artifact) |
| Counts | 51 reports, 55 claims | unchanged |
| Validator | not previously emitted | PASS — 0 fail, 0 warn, 30 pass under the v5 (HSEF v5.3) validator (`validator.txt`) |

Findings by severity: **Critical 0, Major 2, Minor 3, Editorial 0** (5 corrections applied).
Both Majors are **revision regressions** — defects the 9 October revision introduced, not inherited from the earlier edition.
PMIDs checked: **51/51 references verified, 0 failed**, plus the 5 additional identifiers appearing outside the numbered list.
Harm, dosing and contamination claims: **every one checked against its source rather than sampled**; none overstated, none understated.

## Findings

| ID | Severity | Location | Correction |
|---|---|---|---|
| E1 | **Major (revision regression)** | REVIEWER NOTES | "No independent blind grading, Consensus, Scite or independent scientific peer review was performed" contradicted the spliced section documenting a named Consensus Pro thread and a four-source reconciliation. Scoped to the original grading pass rather than deleting either block, so both are now true. |
| E2 | Minor | Consensus consistency validation, primary-source reconciliation | The Consensus report's second citation, described as having no resolvable PMID, resolves as PMID 39093567 (Ashraf, Mackey, Schmidt et al., JAMA Network Open 2024;7(8):e2428280). Identifier supplied; the substantive judgement that it adds no independent study count is unchanged. |
| E3 | Minor | M/S/D; scorecard `extended_scoring_MSD.divergence` | Divergence "Contested" given the checkable artifact the framework requires: the rationale now names the split between supplier and user-forum framing and the regulatory, analytical and pharmacovigilance literature. Value unchanged. |
| E4 | Minor | Evidence cards, 3 sites | "ErratumIn:" → "Erratum in: PMID …". |
| E5 | **Major (revision regression)** | Consensus consistency validation, closing paragraph, and `consensus-addendum.md` | "the earlier approval does not certify this supplement" presupposed an earlier adversarial approval. None exists — the earlier edition carries no approval section and that package holds no adversarial-review artifacts. Rescoped in both files to state that no adversarial approval was attached before 14 October 2026. |

## Rejected findings (checked, no change)

1. **Α for SC3 and the headline**, checked in both directions. Α does not say grey-market products are inert or uniformly dangerous — the review says so explicitly — and it is not too generous, because no examined source provides a controlled clinical comparison of independently assayed preparations.
2. SC2 at Β — direct product assays are measurements, so cap 2 is the correct binding rule.
3. Causal role "epiphenomenon" (step 2) — sits awkwardly on a supply-chain claim, but the derivation is written out and the review states it is an operational classification, not a finding of inertness.
4. Momentum "Mechanistic only" and Stability "Stable" — both carry the required artifact and name the records they rest on.
5. The endotoxin upper-bound qualification — verified against the source's Results. It narrows how two numbers may be quoted without narrowing the finding that endotoxin was present in every delivered vial.
6. Poison-centre calls and spontaneous reports treated as signals rather than incidence — correct, and listed as a named pitfall; the absence of a denominator is not converted into an absence of harm.
7. Supplemental status of PMID 42137313 and 42533250 — correctly excluded from the frozen 51-source count.
8. Citation years differing by one year; PubMed titles dropping Greek letters; no collective-author rendering defect. `review_metadata.reviewer` reads "Codex" as it does corpus-wide and was left alone.
9. **"Best-supported rival"** — checked for the renderer defect that prints `models_evaluated[0]`. Here that entry is the rank-1 non-nominal model (`is_nominal: false`) and the nominal sits at rank 3, so the prose is correct.
10. **Confidence Moderate** — verified against the framework's confidence text rather than access depth. High requires extensive independent replication across labs, models and assay modalities; the supply-side evidence is a handful of test purchases and voluntary reports.

## Files changed

- `grey-market-glp1.review.md` — banner, `## ADVERSARIAL REVIEW AND APPROVAL`, E1–E5.
- `consensus-addendum.md` — E5 (same sentence, kept identical between the two files).
- `grey-market-glp1.scorecard.json` — E3 divergence justification.
- `validator.txt` — new; PASS under the v5 validator, with a note on the 5.4 validator's lay-summary requirement.
- `sol61-original/` — pre-review copies of the review, scorecard, validation report and consensus addendum.

No package-level file was edited. The divergent earlier edition was not touched.

**Approval:** Following adversarial review and the corrections listed above, the revised document is approved.
