  "includeSubclaimIllustrations": false,
  "redteamReviewed": true,
  "accessNotice": "Source checking used bounded original primary abstract passages/status records and selected original partial-body passages. No complete-abstract or complete-paper audit, or independent scientific peer review, is claimed. Detailed access counts and limitations appear in the review.",
  "overview": "Magnesium has small, inconsistent sleep benefits in controlled studies; glycinate/threonate superiority and a proven human neural mediator are not established.",
  "implications": "The registered clinical subclaim SC2 supports Δ with Low confidence. A prospectively registered (DRKS00031494, registered 12 April 2023, before first enrolment on 20 April 2023), double-blind, placebo-controlled bisglycinate trial found a small improvement on its validated primary insomnia score. The studied formulation effect does not establish a large clinically meaningful benefit, a deficiency-only response boundary, salt superiority or magnesium-ion mediation. Mixed and null findings, plus limited objective replication, prevent a stronger clinical claim.",
  "limitations": "59 primary reports, one positive qualifying trial without independent replication, and heterogeneous salts, doses, comparators and endpoints set the confidence; reviewer access depth does not. The grade applies to the exact registered claim; stronger findings for narrower subclaims remain separate. No complete-paper audit or blinded calibration is claimed. This educational review does not establish an individual treatment recommendation."
