# Narration and storyboard draft: Psychedelic Microdosing and Mental Health

Authored draft, approximately 60–90 seconds; no rendered video claimed.

Low-doseLSD has real measurable pharmacological effects. That does not settle whether repeated microdosing provides lasting depression or anxiety relief. A directly relevant open-label study in nineteen people with major depression reported large improvements after eight weeks. Because most participants were taking antidepressants and there was no control arm, improvement cannot be assigned toLSD alone. Consensus helped us locate a newer original masked clinical conference report: LSD did not outperform caffeine on its primary depression endpoint. We verified the report ourselves and retain its limits; a conference abstract is not a complete trial report, and a nonsignificant result is not exact equivalence. Healthy volunteers can feel acute mood elevations without sustained change, and actual allocation guesses matter. The same compound can have perceptible effects and fail a clinical outcome. Psilocybin microdose task positives, full-dose psychotherapy and ketamine trials each have their own doses, drugs and comparators. OurHSEFv5.3primary assessment remainsGamma with moderate confidence: partial support and unresolved therapeutic attribution, alongside a verified clinical null. Full reporting, independent symptomatic studies and credible blinding are the next requirements.

1. Show the exact claim, grade and confidence.
2. Show selected publication milestones; label experimental systems and clinical endpoints.
3. Contrast the strongest result with its source-specific limitation.
4. End with the boundary experiment and primary-source links.
