# Retatrutide: Clinical Weight Loss and Supply Claims

Retatrutide causes substantial weight loss in supervised trials; superiority to modern obesity drugs and equivalence of online research vials remain unestablished in this review.

The registered primary subclaim SC2 supports Ε with Moderate confidence. Retatrutide causes substantial weight loss under supervised trial conditions. Human receptor partition, superiority to modern active comparators and equivalence of online vials require separate evidence. Multiple trials replicate the pharmacological effect; they do not automatically constitute independent causal lines under the frozen shared-failure definition.

Direct retatrutide evidence spans baseline diabetes and non-diabetes, doses and weeks36–48within the registered horizon;80-week phase3 results are reported separately. Some early T2D trials includeBMIbelow the preregistered obesity/overweight threshold, so cohort means are not an exact in-scope subgroup estimate. Lower-dose nulls and appetite endpoint nulls remain in scope. Clinical trial exposure cannot be transferred to unregulated vials, and weight loss does not itself prove mortality or cardiovascular-event benefit.
