# Lifestyle Weight Loss and MASH Reversal

Lifestyle treatment can improve MASH histology; fibrosis reversal, liver-death prevention and weight loss as the sole mediator require stronger direct evidence.

The registered primary SC2 reaches Δ with Moderate confidence: a small randomized lifestyle package changes explicit steatohepatitis histology, while the older trial offers broader activity support. Direct original-body examination prevents calling fat-only NAS changes full resolution. Evidence does not yet map sufficiently broad baseline contexts or isolate achieved weight as the causal mediator to reach Ε or mechanistically narrowed convergence. Separate Γ fibrosis and surrogate-to-event companions do not erase the positive registered clinical phenotype.

Outcome, exposure and stage boundaries are examined, but direct lifestyle resolution evidence is small and does not establish transfer across every diabetes, BMI or fibrosis-stage stratum. The baseline biopsy/age/assigned-treatment requirements were fixed before results. Achieved-at-least-7%/10% groups are reported associations, never used to exclude treatment failures from the primary scope.
